AUXILIARY NURSING MIDWIFERY (ANM)

ANM program is a two years’ fulltime course with course of 1 ½ years + 6 months’ internship. It includes theory classes and compulsory clinical experience in the hospital, community Health Center, Primary Health Centre, Urban Health Center and Sub-Centres in the state of Goa.

AFFILATION

The ANM program is recognized by SNRC, affiliated to Goa Nursing Council (GNC) and is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).

ANM ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  • The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
  • The maximum age for admission shall be 35 Years in which admission is sought.
  • The minimum educational requirements shall be 10 + 2 in Science or Healthcare Science (Vocational) or Arts or Commerce from any recognized board with preference to science.
  • Student shall be medically fit.
  • Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination conducted by National Institute of Open School.
  • Student shall be admitted once in a year.
